Licensing & Compliance Disclosure

Last updated · June 17, 2026

Plain English

We do not claim to hold an active hauling, demolition, towing, salvage, or transport license in every city and state we appear to serve. Rules differ from one town to the next, and we respect that.

What this means in practice

  1. USA Federal Junk Removal is licensed and insured in our home jurisdictions (Oklahoma headquartered, with active permits where we hold standing crews).
  2. When a customer requests service in a city or state where local ordinance, permit, or licensing rules apply differently, we will not pretend to be pre-licensed there. We will tell you up front.
  3. We will do everything in our power to gain compliance — file the permit, post the bond, complete the inspection, pay the fee — so the job can be completed lawfully.
  4. If we cannot reasonably obtain the required local credential in time, we will sub-contract a properly licensed local operator to complete the work under our coordination, and we will tell you that's what we're doing. You always know who is on your property and under what authority.
  5. We will never knowingly perform regulated work in a jurisdiction that prohibits an out-of-state operator from doing so without the proper credential.

Asbestos testing — mobile homes, motorhomes, RVs & campers

⚠ Read this before you sign anything

A growing list of cities and counties — Portland, OR, Vancouver, WA, and many surrounding jurisdictions — now require certified asbestos testing on mobile homes, manufactured homes, motorhomes, travel trailers, and campers before they can be hauled, demolished, dismantled, or landfilled. This requirement is spreading from city to cityand we expect it to be the norm nationwide within a few years.

What this means for you, the customer:

  • A certified inspector must take samples from the unit and a state-accredited lab must run the analysis. Turnaround is usually 3–10 business days.
  • If the sample comes back "hot" (positive for asbestos-containing material), abatement must be done by a licensed asbestos abatement contractor before any haul or demo work is legal. Cost to the customer can run into the thousands — often $3,000–$15,000+ depending on the unit, the amount of ACM, and local labor rates. This is not money we collect — it goes to the lab and the abatement crew.
  • We will not quote a flat haul price that ignores this requirement in jurisdictions where it applies. Pretending the rule doesn't exist is how customers and haulers both end up in court.

Penalties for violation are not paper tigers. In Oregon and Washington in particular, illegal handling of asbestos-containing mobile-home material can carry criminal penalties of up to one year in county jail plus civil fines into the tens of thousands of dollars — for the customer, for the hauler, or for both. Your name on the title does not insulate you from liability if you knew or should have known.

Our policy: in every jurisdiction with a known asbestos-testing requirement, we will (a) tell you up front, (b) coordinate the testing through a licensed inspector, (c) wait for the lab result before scheduling the haul, and (d) if it comes back hot, hand you off to a licensed abatement contractor — we will help you find one, but the abatement contract is between you and them. We get back on the job the moment the abatement is signed off.

If your unit is in Portland OR / Multnomah County, Vancouver WA / Clark County, the broader Seattle–Tacoma metro, or any California county, assume asbestos testing is required and call us before you accept a quote from anyone who isn't talking about it.

No federal-override claim

We are a private, nationally-operating dispatch and hauling organization. We are not a federal agency. There is no "USA-wide" authority that overrides your city hall, your county health department, your state DEQ, or your local salvage-yard licensing board. Our nationwide reach is a logistics network — it is not a license. Local rules win.

If you're a city official or inspector

If you have a question about a job our name appears on in your jurisdiction, contact our dispatch line directly. We will produce the relevant permit, sub-contractor credential, or compliance plan on request, and we will pause the job if there is a question of standing. We'd rather slow a job down by 48 hours than do it wrong.

Required notice
Licensing varies by city & state. We do not claim to be pre-licensed in every jurisdiction we appear to serve. Where local permits/credentials are required and we can't reasonably obtain them in time, we sub-contract a properly licensed local operator. Mobile homes, motorhomes, RVs & campers: Portland OR, Vancouver WA, and a growing list of cities now require certified asbestos testing before haul or demolition. If a sample comes back hot, abatement adds thousands in cost and unlicensed handling can carry up to one year in county jail. We do not haul around the law — we comply or we hand off.
